Moriguchi Campus

Moriguchi CampusThe Moriguchi Campus is located in Moriguchi, a commuter city located in roughly the center of Osaka Prefecture. It is perfectly situated for a convenient commute from the exciting hub of information that is the City of Osaka. The campus itself is surrounded by lush greenery that provides a fresh feeling of rebirth in the air during the spring and summer months as well as an atmosphere of calm reflection in the fall. There are 7 halls on campus, some symbolizing the University's long history and some brand new facilities equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art Information Technology. Moreover, providing for a complete student life is a restaurant, a cafe, a cafeteria, a gymnasium, an athletic field, and the Okuda Memorial Hall that can seat 750 persons. The area around the campus is also peppered with a wealth of apartment buildings providing homes for students from all over Japan as well as from many foreign countries whose lives are centered on enjoying their university experience.

Hirakata Campus

Hirakata CampusThe Hirakata campus is located in Hirakata City, Osaka, a quiet suburban setting 20 km from both downtown Osaka and Kyoto and linked by public transportation to both. Although within sight of the modern skyscrapers of Osaka, the quiet atmosphere of OIU makes it conducive to study. The campus buildings are located on a hill within the Kansai Culture and Science Research District east of Osaka which befits OIU's mission of pursuing the frontiers of globalization and information technologies. The Hirakata campus is located on 60,000 square meters of open space, greenery, and modern facilities. The brand-new campus buildings house a computer center, a library, a research institute, a bookstore, a student activities center, a gymnasium, an athletic field, tennis courts, lecture halls, classrooms and a Seminar House.
